Landscape Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Fisherman Blue-Green

If Chinese landscape scroll painting is your thing, this silk hanging scroll will feel familiar at once: mountain, cliff, waterfall, river, a small boat, fisherman, and mist. Anyone new to shanshui silk wall art could start here — the subject explains itself. The tall silk format suits the subject; mountain gets the room it deserves.

Behind the beauty sits meaning: a lone fisherman, the classic image of the free spirit, while a waterfall dropping in a pale thread. It is a mineral blue-green palette that carries the detail, while mineral blues and greens carry the light. Centuries of connoisseurs preferred silk for its depth; the preference still holds. The mountain, cliff, waterfall, river, a small boat, fisherman, and mist are rendered with a mineral blue-green palette, while mineral blues and greens tie the whole scene together.

Pair it with uncluttered walls and let the painting carry the room. A lovely gift for parents or grandparents who appreciate traditional art.
